In celebrating the 30-year anniversary of ServeTrust, the organization is casting a hopeful vision of the next 30 years with the launch of the Next 30 Campaign. Between now and December 31, ServeTrust is raising $50,000 above and beyond the regular monthly support, which will be matched by an anonymous donor dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000! When combined with this promised matching gift, these contributions will provide $100,000 to address two specific areas of need.
ServeTrust Campus Renovations: First, ServeTrust will refresh and refurbish the main campus in Narasaraopet. While Serve Trust provides services in several locations, this campus is home to five key structures that provide housing to a range of people from young children to older adults. After decades of continuous use, these facilities need significant repairs and modernization. One of them may need to be demolished and replaced. These updates will allow ServeTrust’s long-term residents, who otherwise have nowhere to go, to live in safety and dignity.
Women and Youth Empowerment Initiatives: Second, ServeTrust is launching several new initiatives to further empower women and youth in a culture that largely does not value them. This has always been a part of Serve Trust’s mission, but it is an especially critical time to be able to provide women and youth with pathways to economic freedom, self-determination, and personal dignity. This campaign will provide resources to invest toward that end, including such initiatives as microloans, technology education, family strengthening, and skills-training.
